  1. This video addresses the needs of 98% of the golfers out there who don't play 3-4 times a week and do just fine on less expensive irons. I have the Tommy Armour 845's and they work just fine for my game. I'd love to buy a set of the Kirkland Signature irons but they were in the store for 20 minutes, sold out, then the scalpers put them on eBay for $1000. I won't pay that much for any club. I have enough trouble finding bagel chips at Costco. Now, Takomo is a club that's just as good and readily available. Those I will try

  2. Great review as always! I played the 101s last year and your assessment is spot on! The feel of the clubs is incredible. One item of note, I do pull the higher irons quite a bit left (due to the offset). I’m thinking about the 101T but would like your input on any notable differences in the feel?

  3. Got the Tonmy armour for $299 on sale at Dick’s two weeks ago. I like the 7-A wedge, but not the 6 and 5 irons after using Callaway X 22 for 15 years. Lost some distance….wanted to try lighter irons without breaking the bank. I want to try the Tacoma, though

  4. i always see these but yet to see someone do the bombtech. I even had some of the local pros test them out and said they like them for a starter set and everyday golfer set. I mean for $227 plus tax for a iron set none of these come that clos in price. maybe I am missing something thou

  5. If you are in USA you can visit Sub 70 in the small town of Sycamore, IL just west of Chicago and get fitted with their simulator studio. They will help you select the optimum clubhead, shaft and grip. They will then build the clubs at their factory in Sycamore and ship the clubs to you.

  6. I got the Takomo 101T irons in October and I have been blown away with their forgiveness and workability. I can't wait for spring/summer golf so I can see how the distance compares

  7. Glad to see the TA 845 on your list, I bought a set last season and I’m glad I did! I was using old set of Calloway big Bertha’s with R flex true temper steel shafts. The TA’s have senior flex carbon fiber shafts, which better suit my slower swing speed!
