  1. Good job, like my journey men always told me never assume that the guy who installed it did it correctly! He said always said start with the easy stuff and work it forward, just like you never assume the power is off “meter it”! That sure looks like extension cord for power, YIKES you never get the easy ones!!

  2. I try to tell homeowners when they buy the cheap thermometer that the thermometer has a +/-, most cheap one will be 7 to 10 degrees +/-.
My fieldpiece thermometer says its 3 degree's +/- in the instuction.

NO Thermometer is correct they all have +/-, the more you pay the less the +/-.

Thats why they allow 3 degree +/- for subcool.

For those techs not calibrating the fieldpiece 480 gauges temp. its required. mine was 10 degree off out of the box. I believe fieldpiece says calibtrate and clean every six months.

you can double check your thermometer by puting it ice water. make sure the ice water has set for a few minutes and you swerl/move the cup as your getting the reading. it should be 32 degrees, +/- 3 degrees.

another great job my fellow tech.. I learn a lot from you. Thank you.

My HVAC Contracting license should be in the mail next week. a long time coming for sure.
