Cannot create virtual Ethernet Adapter

Product: VMware Workstation Pro V16

Host Machine: Windows 10 Pro, x64 based w/ Ryzen 5600 CPU, 32GB DDR4 RAM and GTX 1060 3GB GPU.

I have some pretty essential problems with my VMware, and I hope to find some help on this sub.
I haven’t had this problem on other machines, and on those other machines I’ve successfully installed VMware and set up my machine’s network.

My problem is that when entering [Virtual Network Editor](https://imgur.com/a/JYpJAXw) and trying to connect a VMnet to Host-only with “Connect a host virtual adapter to this network” (in this case VMnet1), the program freezes.
When opening my [Task Manager](https://imgur.com/a/W6vlQ9Q) I can see that the library installation is unresponsive.
When I take a look in my [Network Adapters](https://imgur.com/a/ye05JKA), I can see that no ethernet from VMware is present.
As mentioned, I only have problems with this host-machine. My office desktop doesn’t encounter this problem at all.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the program with administrator privileges, repairing the program while having my anti-virus shields down and disabled the whole time. I’ve restarted my desktop after every step.

Thanks in advance for reading and trying to help.
