FIX: For those with Dell servers that had issues with 6.7U3 – OpenManage 9.3.1 is released!

Just a heads up for those who had issues when upgrading their Dell servers to 6.7U3. The original issue turned out to be the Dell OpenManage module: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/74696

I noticed this week that my vCenter Update Manager snagged OpenManage 9.3.1. I used a host we keep around for testing and deployed it and so far it is not showing any issues.

How did you get Dell patches into VUM? I spent way to much time chasing that down to have them tell me “We don’t support it any more”

  3. WTF is up with these Dell issues lately. I updated to the latest 6.5 the other day and my hosts kept being unresponsive to vCenter or any web logins. Dell R630s with custom Dell 6.5 install.

This KB fixed it for me: [https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/74966](https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/74966)

VMware said this will be fixed in ESXi 6.5 P04 at end of year.
