  1. If you just need to access the filesystem, I would set the machine to boot from a live Linux iso, mount the Windows filesystem then do what you need with the data from the live Linux environment.

  2. Do you mean to log in to the local admin account because it looks like you are trying to use the domain admin account? As others have said use a live cd / boot disk and the process is no different that a physical computer.

  3. If you have an idea what the local admin and local password might be but it’s not working; it might be related to you trying that combination as a domain login. Hit the other user option and enter .username and the password you might think it is.

    Note, username = the local administrator account on that VM, might be administrator might not be depending if has been changed for best practice.

    Example:
    .administrator
    Password
