How do I get the ip of my VMware machine while running kioptrix?

I used the net discover command and tried all possible network adapter but still didn’t show the ip

  1. This would be a VM? The term “VMware machine” has a couple of different meanings.

    Assuming it’s a VM, log into it via the console.

  2. I’m not familiar with Kioptrix, and this is more of a question for the makers of the OS. If this isn’t working for you, then you need to detail the methods that you’ve tried to obtain the IP so that we can help you further.

    We also need to understand which VMware product you’re using (there are many), as well as the way the VM networking is configured.
