I keep getting an Alert message for the vmware I’m using? Please help!


I am a student in an animation program, and because we are doing remote learning, the school has provided us with a VPN to have access to the computers at school (the computers have heavy programs that we need). I use the VMware Horizon Client, and everything was working fine until 2 days ago. I was using Illustrator Adobe on the VPN and it stopped responding and my laptop froze, so I just manually shut it off my laptop completely. When I restarted it back and tried to log in, it gave me this message:


It’s been 2 days, and every time I try to access the VPN, this is what I get. We have access to two labs, the other one works, but this one in particular is the one I need.

Can someone help me fix this? I’ve tried contacting the help desk at school, but no one is answering back and I have projects due very soon. I have also tried googling the issue, but I’m not very good with computers and have difficulty understanding what to do. I tried downloading different versions of VMware Horizon as well.

I have a 2017 MacBook Air if that helps.

  1. Call your school’s helpdesk, this is an issue on the target machine, not the horizon client, there is nothing you can do.
