I’m having issues running Windows 10 on VMware, any suggestions to help it run better

So lately I’ve been having issues running windows 10 on VMware, it’s been mainly severe performance and severe glitches making it nearly unusable, in case it helps, my host machine is an Acer Nitro 5 an515-52 x64 processor x64 host os, 8gb installed RAM and the guest machine is running on 2gb memory, 100gb virtual hard drive, x64 VM x64 based windows 10 pro 10.0 10240 Build 10240

I have attached some pictures of the Virtual machine and host machine system info pages along with some footage of one of its many glitches.

I will appreciate any help you give me.

  1. Have you installed vmware tools? I see it has 2 logical cores, where the host has 12. I’m not suggesting that you give it 12, rather maybe something like 4 logical vcpus.
