Last year I passed VCP-DCV 2019 (6.5). In need of guidance on the delta exam/next steps

Last year I though I figured the system out, but here I am again confused.
Checking https://www.certmetrics.com/vmware/candidate/excat_list.aspx I see that there are

* 2V0-21.19D Professional VMware vSphere 6.7 Delta
* 2V0-21.20 Professional VMware vSphere 7.x

Do I understand correctly that the first one does not require me to attend the course and I can go straight to exam? Is exam any different from VCP-DCV 2019 that I passed? (meaning, if it is a standard full-fledged exam or I’ll be tested on the new features of 6.7)

Does taking the second one mean that I need to go through course and maybe even foundation exam again? I don’t see delta 7.x exams, will there ever be a possibility to pass from 6.5 that I have straight to 7.x? Or even from 6.7 to 7.x?

Thank you for you help!

    Certification path if you hold a VCP-DCV 2019…

    1) Gain experience with vSphere 6.7

    2) Option 1 – Pass one of the Professional Data Center Virtualisation Exams

    Professional VMware vSphere 6.7 (2V0-21.19) 70 Questions

    Professional VMware vSphere 6.7 Delta (2V0-21.19D) 40 Questions

    Professional VMware vSphere 7.x (2V0-21.20) 70 Question

    Option 2 – Attend a qualifying course

    Optimize and Scale 6.7 to 7 (5 days)

    What’s New 5.5 to 6.7 or 6.7 to 7 (3 days)

    Fast Track 6.7 or 7 (5 days)

    Troubleshooting 6.7 or 7 (5 days)

    (I’ve truncated the list as there are others which are basically just combinations of the above)

    So you can either do 1 of the exams listed above in option 1 or pay and take a course and therefore there is no need to do the exam. The 3 day ‘What’s New’ course will be the cheapest.
