One gold image, multiple pools, multiple HW configurations

We’re running ESXi 6.5.0, vSphere 6.5.0, and Horizon 7.12.0.

We’ve finally managed to consolidate our pools down to one gold image.

We have 3 pools. We’d like to allocate different RAM + vCPU configurations to each pool.

Example:

Floating pool #1: 2vCPU, 4GB RAM. (volunteers)

Persistent pool #1: 3vCPU, 6GB RAM. (regular users)

Persistent pool #2: 4vCPU, 12GB RAM. (power users)

Is this possible without taking 3 snapshots of the gold image each time we make a change?
