Problem trying to unlock Mac OS X in VMware

So I’m running VMware Workstation Pro 15.5.0 and I’m trying to unlock the button to get access to the Apple Mac OS X check box to create a Mac OS 10.14 Mojave VM. It’s not working, despite me downloading by myself the vmware tools so that’s fine. But each time I try to launch the .cmd file so to modify the files to get the button, when I get back in vmware, the button is not there, and I tried to install reboot, uninstall, reinstall, reboot and nothing. Tried to search on Google but seems I’m the only one getting that … Anyone can help ? I’m on windows 10 64-bit with a Ryzen 5 1600 processor.

  1. Try using older version of unlocker.

v15.5 of VMWare can be unlocked using “VMware Unlocker 2.0.8.”.

Unlocker 3.0 would cause errors and break VMware Workstation 15.5.

  2. have you checked any comments on the unlocker if it works with amd? could be an intel restricted feature since no macs use amd. anyways you are already aware it is against TOS to run macOS on non-apple hardware so you’ll get minimal feedback here.
