“Sebs FinTech Channel”

In this video I sit down with @TheHobbyistMiner to make some predictions for mining in 2024. We predict what mining hardware we think will release in this next year, what coin algorithms will be more prominent, what mining profits in 2024 will look like and more! Keep in mind these predictions…

  1. Great video. Love your content. Love the file you put together for Kaspa miners.

One question I have for you is this. Do you think the hashrate will continue on this huge increase or do you think it will level off and slow down? How do you see it increasing each month? And where do you think it will be in six months from now.

  2. Yeah Its a shame that KLS Launch the project that is not fpga resistent because we know that are some fpga on the network like " Superscalar K10 FPGA " the good news are they cost a lot like 5200 usd each but let´s see how this project will go , one not i prefer this LKS that the new one Pyrin but wo knows

  3. Tks you guy´s because of you i start do difersificade my mining " i am a gpu miner in heart " but now i have a couple of asic´s of btc and kaspa keep the great work and happy new year

  4. my personal thoughts – partly fuelled by recreational listening to Bloomberg radio
I think the "name brand" coins are going to be flat in profitability as more and more "corporate investors AND operators are going to move to them as more regions start "recognising" them as an actual investment vehicle" and NOT a way to do illegal activity – in short hashpower AND values will climb on ETH / BTC and other "mainline" coins that are "stable-ish"
I agree on the hardware front that it will be "ALT coin" and incremental increase for mainline coins as 3NM is NOT the "world beater" it was hyped to be and looking at the PC hardware space with LITTLE to show for gains plus the price hikes the fabs have rolled out NOT TO MENTION the massive expansion "safe shoring" taking place – 25 / 26 I think we will see more capacity to make chips that will lead to a better price/performance level allowing hardware vendors to INCREASE there performance while hitting price targets AND there profitability targets
software I HOPE that more HOME/small commercial miners "pushes" the software devs to return to the "arms race" we had right after the merger

I hope personally to have a return to the "excitement" that is presently missing from the whole space like we had before the merger

  5. Must apologize for my few months ago response for your asic video…. But I trust your judgement and make my “thinking “ after that I bought few Ks2 and few ks0 pro… sold all gpu 3070,3070ti and few 4090…. For that I built new farm with those asic and bought CMP50 50 pcs ready for something happen with gpu mining…

  6. Hey Seb! Love your channel! Quick question for you. I was a casual miner back before the etherum merge. That is to say, I used nicehash for the most part and I unplugged like a lot of others after Etherem split. I had a great job and it was mostly just a hobby.

Now I find myself in a much different situation. My employer was hit hard during COVID and was unable to recover. I was ultimately let go about a month ago. I'm doing gig work now and looking for another job. I decided to plug back in about a month ago and am making about 3 bucks a day off of Nicehash. I'm running 2x 2060. 1 AMD RX 6600. 1 EVGA 3070 ftw3, 1 Gigabyte 3070ti and 1 Zotac 3080ti.

So here's my question. In your opinion, should I continue mining on Nicehash? Or would running on a pool and staking the coins make more sense (and profit)?

Thanks for all that you do, brother!
