Using an IT Helpdesk (OSTicket) at Home



If you’re looking after a home network, you’ll know just how big it can get when you start spinning up VMs, docker containers, managed switches, security camera’s and NVRs. I’ve recently discovered how useful a Support Ticketing system such as OSTicket can be in keeping track of what actions you carry out on your home network. OSTicket is also great for capturing alert notifications from devices like a Synology NAS, Wordpress or even LibreNMS.
