Vmware 16.1 with hyper-v enabled runs slow

I have a ryzen threadripper 2950x, 128 gigs of ram, Windows 10

I have hyper-v enabled, I am using hyper-v virtual machines as well. They run great.

For vmware ws pro, the vms are slow. I allocated 16 threads to it.

Hyper-v and vmware vms are on nvme ssds.

I am aware that if hyper-v is enabled, vmware runs with even more restrictions.

But why even allow this if the performance is so choppy? They made a lot of hype around this.

I wanted to use vmware as the gpu acceleration is much better than remotefx.

Anyone else experience the same?
