VMware

VMWare Won’t Connect

Context: I am doing exploit development on a Kali VM through VMWare, and sending it through a bridged connection to my router, and back to my PC and to a Windows VM on VirtualBox.

I have used this Kali box for a year now – I have always had it on NAT. I switched to bridged to make networking between VM software’s easier, but when I did that my Kali VM (VMWare) was slowing dropping the connection, and I would just hit disconnect/reconnect. But now it won’t connect at all, and when I try to switch it back to NAT, it still doesn’t allow it.

It just says “Activation of network connection failed”

Any advice?

Thanks
