Vsphere 6.5 – Trying to passthrough a USB modem to a Windows 7 VM

Hey folks – I have the task of virtualizing one of our legacy systems.

It runs Windows 7, and has a 3g/lte modem. I’ve successfully got it VMed but I can’t pass through the modem. Esxi sees it,

but when I try to add a new USB host device, I’m getting the “No available devices” error.

Any pointers?

Thanks,
