Windows guest boots to grub screen |VMware Communities

I used the vCenter converter to create a vmdk from my physical machine (win10). Default settings during the conversion process.

I created a fresh win10 VM, and  moved my vmdk and vmx in that folder, and set it as the hard disk.

When I boot, it shows “gnu grub version 2.02”, and a grub command prompt.

I am running Workstation Player 15, on a linux host.

My physical machine is a Windows/Linux dual boot. Maybe that’s the issue?

The BIOS of the physical machine is set with Windows bootloader as first choice, it does not boot to grub.
