Hello one and all wherever you're at
How much you want to bet the other units were installed the same way?
Good example of a bad commissioning job. I'd wouldn't be surprised if the other equipment was in the same situation. Interesting path from problem to solution.
they do allow you to calibrate the room controller
Jumper man. You go son!! Definitely a hack job on the wiring. They knew that had some shade tree installers to put that shit in that's why they called a pro do repairs.
Hacks will bring you stacks. Great video JMT
OMG NOT LG ๐

Great job and helpfulness ๐ค๐ด๐ค
Thanks for sharing. Great job as always.
Good job, like my journey men always told me never assume that the guy who installed it did it correctly! He said always said start with the easy stuff and work it forward, just like you never assume the power is off โmeter itโ! That sure looks like extension cord for power, YIKES you never get the easy ones!!
great work && video ๐
Nice job
I try to tell homeowners when they buy the cheap thermometer that the thermometer has a +/-, most cheap one will be 7 to 10 degrees +/-.
My fieldpiece thermometer says its 3 degree's +/- in the instuction.
NO Thermometer is correct they all have +/-, the more you pay the less the +/-.
Thats why they allow 3 degree +/- for subcool.
For those techs not calibrating the fieldpiece 480 gauges temp. its required. mine was 10 degree off out of the box. I believe fieldpiece says calibtrate and clean every six months.
you can double check your thermometer by puting it ice water. make sure the ice water has set for a few minutes and you swerl/move the cup as your getting the reading. it should be 32 degrees, +/- 3 degrees.
another great job my fellow tech.. I learn a lot from you. Thank you.
My HVAC Contracting license should be in the mail next week. a long time coming for sure.
Pretty sure if you set the dip switches youโd be good to go
Holy hack job from hell! Outside of that, these units and the LG units seem to be money all day for sevice companies.
Great job bro. Those dip switches can be confusing
