  1. Not related to the video but rather the ad. Jersey (UK channel islands) has rider's insurance – you can ride any bike below your insured CC, and it was cheaper to get 125cc rider insurance than to just insure my r125…

  2. I'm 42. Looking at the Ninja 650 because it's that midline between high insurance and moderate insurance, power and comfort while riding, and let's face it it just looks awesome. That said, the Vulcan S would probably be more comfortable for longer rides, so that one is on my want list as well. lol

  3. rode my 08 r6 like you've got behind you from fort bragg, yes bragg cause phuck changing history, to fort payne alabama. most my one way non stop except for gas and pee and smoke, were atleast 500 mile stretches. the k5 750 i had previous was way more comfortable, but still, nothing beats the 08 r6

  4. don't buy a 600. Don't buy a liter bike. Don't do this, don't do that
    what's "a 600" ? is the CB 600 a 600 ? is the CB 1100 a liter bike ?
and if you want to feel like Rossi on your (usually small) commute to work, what's wrong with that ?

  5. I used to daily my 2006 R6. On weekends Iโ€™d chuck the race fairings on it and race in the state and national super stock 600 championships. Best race finish of 11th at National level and a win and a second at state level. Then rode the bike to work on Monday! So yes. You can daily a race bike! Oh hang on. Or is it.. you can race a daily! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜

  6. this vid was so goofy to watch. it has nothing to do with displacement and everything to do with form factor. i daily a 765 and i could still go up comfortably. what hes saying is "dont daily a SPORT BIKE" without these mods, which is fair because sport bikes are terrible daily rides, especially without tank pads.

  7. Nah fuck that is love my RR7 I daily that shit, ride in the winter, everything. Wrecked and rebuilt so many times. Could give a fuck about your rules Yammie!! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. I do daily my 650R. But living Stockholm central – that means I have access to to the entire city in almost 15 mins per ride.

Another nice thing about living here too – is that there are many long scenic twisty roads the further out you ride from the city, that's where I do the long and fast rides – but on the weekends.

  9. you're either competent or not , no difference between 600 , 300 , 1000 crash , if you don't understand physics you're going to die , on 600 at least you'll be more focused and aware so I'd argue you're going to be a safer driver

besides skill ceiling is much more pronounced so you will be more aware of how physics work since you have more engine to experience physics , if you roll throttle 100% on 300cc you won't learn much , if you roll throttle 100% on 600cc you might slide rear tyre or you might not , and you will get a lot more information on how motorcycles work thats the main difference.

you can learn a lot more.

  10. I get it, but lets not overstate the peaky powerband. I rode an R6 on the street and this is why.

Principle: an bike reving at 6000 rpm and going the same speed as another bike, same engine, at 3000 rpm has twice the torque at the back wheel. Simple math with gearing.

So my point is, a litre bike with hypothetical 80 ft lbs at the crank doing 3000 rpm and 50 mph, next to a 600cc bike getting 40 ft lbs at crank at 6000rpm at 50 mph, will have the same throttle twist rear wheel torque. They will accelerate the same at that instant of wot.

So a 600 may need more revs but its not like it needs 12000 rpm on the street.

    Feedback welcome.

  11. It all depends where you live. In phx, La, houston, dallas etc it isnโ€™t crazy. Lots of highway, heat, and outdoor life. I lived in Oregon and Washington for 20 years where even in the summer a motorcycle is a toy, you never saw daily riders
