Humans not artificial intelligence should make the key decisions on using nuclear weapons according to a global summit on AI in the military domain. Nearly 60 countries agreed on this in a non-binding declaration at the Responsible AI in the Military Domain (REAIM) summit in Seoul after two days of talks. However, the agreement is not legally binding, and was not signed by China. Why are countries not on the same page on the use of AI in the military? Is AI in warfare a threat or a blessing?
