  1. I had 10 developers in my team 6 months ago with 7 of them in junior-mid level and 3 seniors. Now, I just have 3 senior devs in team with good compensation. revenue has increased 50% in 3 months, even after decreasing the devs from 10 to 3. One does not need AGI. Rate of progress in AI is such that it will require less people for same task.

  2. Guys, As a data scientist. AI is nothing but a statistical model Just some math equation. I will say be good at what you do. AI is generating false code as per my exprience. It lack imagination.
    AI just a tool guys.

  3. it started with capable candidates, with y2k many colleges created mou with companies sending mostly non computer science candidates from mechanical electrical, civil and food not to become an attrition and now what are we seeing with sharp rise in layoffs and resignation

  4. If AI can replace man power, then its not just a threat to employees but to ruling party politicians too.
The more unemployed persons, the more will be the anger towards government. Hence more chances for rebellion and unstable government.
So my guess is , if politicians want to remain in power then they will forbid AI usage to replace humans but will permit AI usage to assist humans and increase productivity.

  5. Not only engineers—all the respected jobs of today will be eaten up by the AI soon. But humans will evolve to a next level after they get rid of the respected jobs and their hegemony. Today physicians, advocates, judges, engineers, architects, teachers, professors, authors, intellectuals parasite upon common citizens—AI is the fitting answer to empower humans.

  6. Please ask a question from IMF : in case of low purchasing power of human, how will economy survive ? The whole ecosystem of economy will get collapsed. At this early stage it is very charming and looking good from view point of operational efficiency but in long run it will be a debacle for whole

  7. AI is ultimately going to increase production and reduce consumption drastically….current and future generation is going to suffer a lot! Luckily food production and consumption will still be good due to increasing population as people cannot consume 'data' as of 2024!

  8. that is a totally wrong census. You say only 2k indians can do AI job even 15 year old kids these day are doing way more tools than anybody. Of course not everyone is top notch in Ai but even if you apply for a single AI job it just closes in 1 minute its flooded with resumes. India has a lot of talent and potential but not that kind of platform and ecosystem. But it is progressing like anything. Soon you will see tremendous opportunities and groundbreaking work from Indian community and ofcourse even so called unemplyed youth today will be part of it.
