I found the Asian server to be similar to your description, but I found teamwork more difficult than the other servers. I'm an Asian who played for 61 hours and there were only a few matches where everyone was open mic and the rest they were silent.

Yeah what makes Asia difficult is cheaters. I'm convinced that the majority of the lobbies I join have at least someone wall hacking. The more obvious cheats like aim have been reduced however. I really love the game but the cheaters just makes it so frustrating. Worst part is that it's difficult to identify is someone is cheating. I don't even know if I just got outplayed with genuine skill, beamed by a mechanically skilled player or just straight up cheating. Climbing the ranks is such a slog because of this. Super demoralizing.

I'm from Australia so I've been queuing Asia servers for most of the season. Once I started fighting Asia Diamonds I gave NA a go and it was like playing on Easy Mode. Even the non-cheating Asia Diamonds would stop NA diamonds in the games I've played
Asia was hard when cheaters dominating. Now its too easy.

We Asia players literally wait for the other team to initiate the fight first and thn third party, I once encountered a team who were waiting for my team to fight with the defender, and both my team and the other team were waiting for each other, until the cash-out was completely done, we still had not fight.
