Does it have a dark mode for the app store as well as the file manager?
i really like CasaOS, they make it easy to host and manage a ton of things, but we need to fix an issue, IT'S NOT AN OS! it's software you install AFTER the OS is installed. meaning the experience can vary greatly depending on what OS you run underneath.. if, for some reason, you run an os with tons of stuff preinstalled, CasaOS has less to work with, but maybe getting the most slim and lean linux is also a bad thing, as stuff might not work out of the box.
other than that, great video 🙂 and sorry for my rant..
Your communication skills are excellent. The video is well thought!!!
Please make a video on installing frigate on CasaOS
Why didnt you build with a m.2 SSD?
Liked & Subscribed! Keep it up brother. You are doing good.
is it normal that a movie is not possible to open in Files Media/Movies ? Thanks for the very good explanation…
we say application not APPLE – acations
Casa os is pretty good. I would have went with it but I feel like I learned a lot more doing it on ubtunu server.
Good stuff! I’m going to give this a try!
Can the shared folders be username/password protected?
Great video. please make more on this topic.
Nice to see you're still doing RPi content! It's been a minute since I've been to your channel, since I've been obsessed with my Jellyfin server for the past year or so, but I'm looking to get back to using my RPi4. It also has 8 GB RAM like yours, and I've just acquired another one but with 4GB RAM. I feel guilty sitting on these lol
Thank you for this video. Well done! Question: Once I share a directory on my home network, is there any way to password protect the shared directory?
Very helpful. Thank you kind Sir!
This is amazing 🎉
It just transfer files up to 12 ,13 Mbps any solution, I’m over Ethernet??? Great videos!!
Hey man can u try tiny 11 raspberry pi zero w
i observed that the pi bottlenecks, while using usb hdds.
hey luke, would you give tiny 11 or other super light windows 11 osses like project blacknight and more a try?
Berryboot lets you run multiple operating systems.
I prefer Berryboot but that's just me. I also love the Vilros keyboard/touchpad hub and my 8bitdo N30 wireless mouse. I like running a lot of retro games though so that's my biggest go to. Berryboot Lakka and Berryboot Retro Pi are a blast. I love Dreamcast and PSP especially. Great little gadget.
I want to install in my rpi
You cover minor details that others skip over. Great vid! I’ve been running umbrel for a while now, always looking at new things to try! 👍
Nicely done! Really enjoy how you do your videos. No fluff, you get right to the point and present in a very efficient, effective manner. Thanks!
Alternatives to CasaOS include Umbrel and YunoHost.
Love this!
Thanks Brother, I was Really Working On a Little Project. Your video was Very Helpful.
This isn't an operating system…
Wow,that’s amazing that they have added so many features since your first video on the CasaOS
It might be a specific issue to my setup (basically, my pi4 is acting both as a router as well as a server so devices can connect to it directly, thus eliminating the need for a separate router) but for some reason, CasaOS doesn’t work well with the raspAP I have installed on my pi4, everything works fine except Casa apps don’t get installed, thus I had to switch to pi-hosted by novaSpiritTech which has served me well for a few weeks, I might revisit casaOS later in the future
Thanks a lot for making a new video and informing us above the new features in CasaOS 👍
Edit: lol I wrote the comment before watching the whole video and just saw that you also installed pi-hosted, I didn’t even thought of that, that’s a great idea! Using CasaOS as a beautiful home dashboard/UI and pi-hosted to do all the heavy lifting in the background, thanks a lot man!
So helpful. I recommend everyone to follow
