The Lectric XP Lite is a folding electric bike for people who need a lightweight and compact ebike. If you want an ebike for short riders, this could fit the bill, however it also was able to expand in size to accommodate a 6’5″…

  1. What's up with the wobbly wheel, out of alignment/balance? I've been waiting for a manufacturer to allow the use of the best parts in the market, rather than for us to buy their economy parts. I know that's how they make their money, but how about selling the frame and let us choose the better parts. Of course, then you got the name-brands who think people are going to buy a 7k bicycle. So I get it. It just sucks though because in 8 months of daily riding I'm pretty sure this bike will be parked.

  2. Just ordered the black for $249 plus $10 shipping. Cheaper than my one speed just pedal bike. I like the mountain bike bike tires for pedaling rather than fat tire bikes which I see a lot of reviews of just throttle. That's not exercise. $249 and I can buy an extra battery to double range. Take that $800 bikes and $150 shipping.

  3. That is some of the sloppiest welding I’ve ever seen on a finished product. If that is welding. It could be some compound, but whatever it is the craftsmanship is shoddy.

  4. I have this bike. I don’t know how big your pockets are but it doesn’t fit in mine! It weighs 43 lbs; thats more than both my full size road bikes put together. So while I love my Lectric bike, it’s plain silly to exaggerate it’s portability.

  5. Yes, you could spend thousands of dollars on an eBike https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ and get something much higher quality. However, if you're looking for a basic model to try out eBiking this is a great choice. The assembly is easy as far as bikes go (took about an hour for me to do, I'm not an expert). All tools needed are included. I added the plastic mud guards you see and a more comfortable seat. The other reviews are correct that you're probably going to want a better seat (Giddy Up! Bike Seat is what I got – super comfortable). The battery easily handles a 2-4 hour ride if you add some of your own pedal power. I haven't even gotten it up to top speed yet – it is very fast. Components are not top of the line, but decent for the price and work just fine. It works great on dirt roads and singletrack and pavement although too heavy to do tricks or any serious technical mountain biking. I'm looking forward to using it a lot over the summer. Tons of fun!

  6. Is there any brick-and-mortar store for this ebike in Florida? I might be interested in seizing an opportunity to test it out. Just a few days ago, I had the chance to test ride the M160 Foldtan, and it completely revolutionized my perception of folding ebikes.

  7. I have it, using it for a few days now & there is one big issue that people need to know & that is the position of the throttle
The ends of the handlebars are not very big, I am not a big guy, small hands & yet my hands cover some of the throttle when I grip the handlebars
    Why is this an issue?
I found it the hard way – I stopped at a red light & needed to go left, so I back up while seated
Without realizing it, while backing up, i pulled down the throttle! engaging it! The bike took off, I was not prepared, fell down hard on the road! The bike fell down after moving forward a bit, fortunately there was no traffic – otherwise it might have hit someone
This is an issue – now I make sure whenever I am stopped, to not cover the throttle with my hand
I think they need to change this – maybe engage the throttle by moving it UP, not DOWN
Or in other bikes, there is a little bar that one pushes down with the thumb – that is a better way to engage the throttle
Right now I fear this is an accident waiting to happen

  8. I want to use this to 1-6 mile distances in a fairly hilly area. I don’t mind helping the thing a bit with pedaling but I’d be sharing the road with cars. Also don’t mind hopping off if I don’t feel comfortable around the cars. Anyone have any thoughts?

  9. For people who have never hade one of these they are the bag for your buck I bought one like 3 years ago an they were like 1200 Ann it still works fine…. I’m thinking they went down in price because people don’t know how good these really are seriously… I think of people knew we would so so many more of these on the streets.. another 20 miles an hour on this this is way more exciting then what you see on this video an you can go 30 with peddling 👍

  10. Spokes don't look like they are stainless. They will eventually rust riding at the beach. My current folder has this problem. You can test this with a magnet.

  11. I bought one for myself in December of 2021 couldn’t ride till spring I put 901 miles on it in 2022 . Then in 2023 I rode it for 12 miles next day it wouldn’t start up , it’s been in the the shop for more than a week I can’t recommend this brand of bike

  12. love my Xp lite there worth the money. I noticed the throttle response is smoother in PAS #1 doesn’t lag.
I do wish it had a better looking stem and a Smaller display but not a deal breaker it’s a cool Bike😎.

  13. Matt, I've lived in New York State for 40 years, so I have earned the right to be critical. When I compare NYS e-bike laws to California's, I'm shocked at how puritanical our laws are. The things I see you do in your videos would put me in jail !
