  1. He's what is called "white flight" out of Caddo Parish, see, after desegregation in 1970, they closed all our manufacturing plants like GM truck assembly, Poulan chain saws, AT&T (World's largest business phone assembly center), all closed now. Demographics became opposite of what they were in '70, majority black & brown now, all the professional jobs left town, downtown was completely destroyed, mostly vacancies now. It's got nothing for our young people to look forward to. White kids all got used cars for their 16th birthday, not an opportunity for majority of kids now. Kids around here get money put on their inmate accounts. You see, the equity most had by home ownership then, is not our present state. All these newly integrated neighborhoods are rentals. It's a crime against an oppressed race here.

  2. Does a covenant marriage prevent one’s husband from walking out on one?? That’s my question. How does covenant marriage actually give you any security? In any relationship, one person can always choose to leave.

  3. Wait a minute. So MJ was promoting the "Covenant Eyes" app which is considered technology, while speaking at a "War on Technology" event. The hypocrisy that is so obvious it smacks you in the face, yet they either are blind to if or simply chose to ignore it.

  4. 'when youre behind in a race the only thing to do is run faster' did he choose to be a lawyer because he's evil and sucks at math? this fucking bootstraps shit… the entire reason we still argue about reparations is because it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to have the social mobility- PARTICULARLY of a heavily marginalized group, to recover all the value lost from exploited, in this case STOLEN labor. just actually disgusting for him to say that and make it sound like its somehow respectful of other peoples struggles.

  5. The way I started yelling when you were talking about THE HUMOURS being used in "medicine" I just 🙃

The Mike Johnson effect seems to be happening to this video, so here's a comment for the algorithm.

  6. You misrepresented the situation with Patrick McHenry. He is actually a very popular and well-liked member of the House, and many wanted him to be the permanent speaker, but he refused to let himself be considered.

  7. Two things, I believe Mike adopted his black “son” as a single man after meeting him at a Baptist camp. Also, you didn’t mention that he claimed no bank accounts on his financial disclosures! Talk about disappearing!

  8. Mike Johnson was appointed by TRUMP. This tells me we are already into the realm of Dictatorship..Trump has more power now than he did as actual president. It's disgusting we let our once-great country fall so easily to FASCISM.

  9. I'll be surprised if anything found will make him flinch. As soon as I saw his face I was instantly familiar with the look in his eyes. I was raised around men like this in religious circles. They take their life very serious and believe to the bottom of their core that their deity will accomplish the thing thing through them that they believe will be accomplished. These are the actual bad guys who use people like the orange one to hide behind and do the bad deeds while others are distracted. Gaetz wishes he could be this guy.

  10. The thing that bothers me with the opposition to reparations is that it's silly and reductive to assume they need to be distributed by "race". We've got records that show whose families were enslaved. We don't need to base it on race whatsoever. If you're in a certain wealth bracket and your family traces ancestry to someone who was enslaved, you can be entitled to X amount of financial compensation/assistance.

That said, I don't think this system of reparations is sufficient alone, as there will be Black individuals in poverty who lack the resources to prove their slave ancestry, and thus reparations should also focus on areas that were historically red-lined, and on majority Black areas dealing with a high rate of historical poverty, and by supplying affirmative actions grants to Black individuals employed in industries that have a history of anti-Black discrimination. There are specific instances of reparation were land seized from a Black family under unjust pretenses has been returned and/or the family is compensated. We should also consider the necessity of recompense to the wrongfully incarcerated Black people sent to prison due to racist discrimination in the justice system, and the need to provide social support systems to the children and families of currently incarcerated people whose crimes are the crimes committed by the impoverished as acts of survival or responses to a traumatic upbringing with no resources.

All these different strategies combined should address, not only the historical harms of slavery, but the other post-Civil War consequences of anti-Black racism. It's only a simplistic, uninformed view of the issue that could possibly lead a man to think reparations is solely "everyone who has dark skin gets money".
