ANC gasping for air in this conversation, EFF kicking their face back under. Dead in the water with false allegations and self incrimination, the ANC is indefensible at this point. What is sad is that they still get voter support in spite of the glaring incompetence/ineffectiveness as opposition in a well run municipalities and at provincial level. What we saw in May was only the beginning, the LGEs will tell us exactly where this is going…
whilstthese people are TAUGHT that government MUST provide … whilst they FAIL TO PAY for what is provided.. then we will not make progress… The ANC , EFF and MKP need to be honest with these people .. NOTHING IS FREE>>> SOMEBODY MUST PAY OTHERWISE IT WILL BE NO MORE IN THE FUTURE….
the municipality is obligated to service FORMAL SETTLEMENTS… wher residents pay for SERVICES… in these INFORMAL SETTLEMENTS u see SATELITE DISHES, CARS ,, yet they are to POOR to pay for the services needed for daily use.. these people need to be educated as to the basic principles of economy.. GOVERNMENT DOES NOT OWN MONEY… THE ANC DOES NOT OWN MONEY…. THE TAXPAYERS ARE THE OWNERS OF THE MONIES GOVERNMENT USE to service the residents… THERE IS ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF TAXPAYERS who struggle daily to meet their financial and civic responsibilities.. to achieve that they do PROPER FAMILY PLANNING ( only have children when u can afford it )… Buy a car when you can afford it… PAY THEIR MUNICIPAL BILLS to keep their lights on… these INFORMAL SETTLEMENTS need to start doing that , maybe then they will benefit from the services… they need to be taught that everytime they burn down government structures, burn tyres on urban roads.. these infrastructure damages need to be re financed…monies that was supposed to me used to service the city now has to be used to repair damages caused by those who need that monies to service their cpmmunities.. lets start in the right place.. change the MINDSET and then..,,

100 % correct bro Chippa from the EFF. The clean audit in Midvaal does not speak to the service delivery issues for the people of Sicelo and Mamello. The people there are living in chilling conditions.
