There's no LMU DLC Drama. If you're not happy paying for a DLC in early access, just don't. Simple. The rest of us are enjoying LMU DLC.
Saying "Nobody will play AC Evo without mods" is a little bit silly tbh.. I will play the game, I am actually hoping it does not support the old mods as they are, instead, the mods need to be updated to suit the new game, coz if they do not need to be updated, then is it even a new game, or a reskin? People will play the new game without the current mods though, so being salty if it does not ship with mod support is a waste of time.
Anyway, all that AC Evo needs to have a great multiplayer system, with a ranking that actually matters. Never mind "backward compatibility"

🍎 until recently I used an t150, trustmaster gearshift, thrustmaster loadcell pedals all mounted to next level f-gt simrig. why? before I sold my t300 when I got bored of simracing and wanted to race again and t150 felt great for what it is.
Race sims are just games, so no need for high end stuff as no race sim feel even close to reality. just games, and it seems that the race sims gets worse and worse. Race07/evo feels just as good as any race sim today. It is a sham 😛
I dont understand why people are hanging on to the early access stamp on LMU. You can play ranked online or singleplayer with zero issues. Ive bought the season pass. If we want it to succeed and progress, support it. Just my take.

It's allll about ACE for me. All other pretenders are irrelevant, especially projects run by ian bell who never bothers to finiish a game.
EA sucks they ruin games
I updated EA WRC a few days ago and decided to give it a play last night. Would you believe I received a message saying "EA AntiCheat has detected an unacceptable configuration. Please ensure no cheat-related or tampering software is active and restart the game. (115)". To cut a long story short, I restarted the computer (which is newly built and 100% legitimate software wise) twice if i remember correctly and I was able to play the game. I will have to investigate this further because if this is at the kernel level I can't say I'm comfortable with that.
People expecting AC Evo to go through a couple of years development and investment by the studio and then think free community mods should be activated and/or allowed day 1 are being totally unrealistic.
Expect the modding community to be set loose after a couple of years and the studio has had a chance to sell some dlc packs and make some money for their effort to make the game to begin with.

Ac is the only full simulator i care about, glad ac evo focus on some roadcars, mods looks like it will work different than before.
So many of these new games are so unethical i can't support them or play them, like Rennsport and LMU with their Early Access DLC's…

They already have all your info stop crying about it, like you have anything they really want they already know what you like and can market to you. If you really cared you wouldnt be online.
We need a trophy truck racing game on console or a Baja 1000 game! The best we have is trophy trucks in Forza horizons and horizons has terrible force feedback

I think people are way WAY too hung up over buying additional content for an early access. With the pretty affordable price for the ERA you got a decent amount of fun for the cost. Now they are adding content and they need some working funds to make it possible… nothing wrong with that. Most Steam release games now seem to be about $60 USD.. the EA for LMU was what? $35 ish? I guess I just dont understand the hang up. Feels like me that people are just being haters and drama queens.
i get the argument about paying for DLC in early access game but looking at gaming its common practice so im not surprised simracing started doing it
If people complain about DLC’s in LMU, they have a problem, nobody is forcing them to buy it, if you don’t like it move on, the base game is 2023, they never said it was based on 2024, if you want more content, you pay, simple
Edit: also people will always ask for 2024 content and future content, they aren’t gonna just put the 23 seasons and leave it as that

If modding in AC EVO isn't as easy as it is in AC1 people will just stick to AC1, we need to have free crap mods and free good mods. I am not saying that everything should be free. But paying for every mod will just return people to AC1, it's ok to pay for 7 or 8 amazing mods but beyond that it feels like paying for DLC that devs didn't even make themselves. I would rather get 50 AC1 mods that are ok or good for free, then pay for 10 amazing mods in AC EVO and i think there are many people that would do the same thing.
