I have 6 PCs (desktops/laptops) and I went back to console. I still use my PC for some games and for work/media consumption, but I found myself spending more time tinkering, benchmarking and upgrading than I did actual gaming. I would spend all my time looking at PC part news, planning my next upgrade, etc. Now that I play mostly on a console I can enjoy my game without thinking about FPS or upgrades
Meanwhile you can make games and type fast and connect a controller to a pc and record and edit videos.
Pc you literally have to download files and Donwloafs to download a game 💀
Just got one and I hate how I have to go I or the bios and change so much stuff I just want to be able to play. Not always changing stuff for my game to work
I’ve been really getting into PC gaming and I have to say it is the superior way to play games. But I still prefer console because you just press a couple of buttons and you’re good to go.
True, a ps5 is a beast and it’s really expensive to build a pic that’s equivalent

I agree console are better for the reason he names but i think also because console always offers better performance what i mean is since console are fixed hardware there hundreds of thousends if them with the same exact spec its eazier to optimize the game to get the best performance out the game and on pc there so many of them out there with all kind of specs and because there are it makes it harder to optimize the pc versions of the game because on a rtx 2060 it might habe problems even if it gives you a smooth 120 fps it feels like 40 or 30fps but a gtx1660 gives you a smooth 30 to 50 fps but feels smoother than 120fps with studder and chugging problems

Don't get how this is a debate. If you want the best gaming experience, you choose pc as it's the best for gaming on every aspect, but you obviously pay more. If you don't want to spend too much money, you're just going to play games that aren't very graphics heavy you'll just choose a console as it's a lot cheaper and todays consoles can still hit 120 hz in light games or you get a console caus you know you're not going to play that often for people that have a buisy schedule most of the time.
What's the difference between downloading/installing patches on consoles and installing driver/game updates on PC? The days when you can just pop in a cartridge or CD and play a game on consoles are long GONE!!!

Well a console obly runs native 1080p at most even the newest ones. A 500€ PC can upscale 1080p to 4k just as fine… so yeah… some people wanna do more than gaming and if they’re gaming they want the best graphical experience… some just want a single purpose gaming machine first less money compromising on everything graphics wise… Both are great and got their pros/cons and purposes. But it’s definitely sad to see even a "specialist" claiming quite frankly… BS.
Retailers build pc for you , there is no setup required and if updating drivers and simply clicking a button is hard for you then this world is a chaos for you , pc is better , long live piracy

I feel that its not really a fair debate as consoles are built for gaming and only gaming, while pcs can do everything, and also most consoles charge a supscription for internet

Nope this video is shit on pc you can mod, pirate, emulate, upgrade your build, bigger catalogue of games,more sales and because you can buy from different stores your game could be on sale on say gog but it wasn’t on steam, no subscription services required meaning on console for ps plus or Xbox live in the long run your paying more on console (how do you think they make their money) and not only can you upgrade but replacing the pc after 4-5 years isn’t required to be on the cutting edge unlike console where you have to get the next one.
Consoles are the same power as mid range gaming pcs and you choose between 1080p 60 fps (performance mode) and 4k 30 fps (quality mode) which you can already do on a midrange build. I think there are more perks to pc than console imo and my main gaming platform but the ease of use of consoles is a bonus that I can see why people would prefer console.
Consoles are also computers 😅 you have to.update the os wich contains also newest versions of drivers, if you just game a console is the best

i think for singleplayer/sports/racing games console is much better but for mutliplayer and specially shooters pc is superior cause of optimization options like no shadows low graphics for higher frames low input lag

Pc gaming will always be wayyy better than console. There are many reasons why, but the main one is that a PC is wayyy more powerful and if you're not happy with the power you have, you can very easily upgrade it and make it even more powerful. Bored with the original look?!? You can easily customize it. Once you learn how to keep all the drivers updated and all that stuff, which is already extremely easy, then you eventually dont even realize that its a super minor inconvenience. Gaming on a desktop PC maybe the most powerful option, but even a gaming laptop is wayyy more powerful than a console. Im not gunna get deep into why i believe gaming laptops are better than gaming on a desktop, or a console. But I will say, even tho theyre not as powerful as a gaming desktop, they are wayy more powerful than a console. Plus, you can very easily change your scenery and literally take them ANYWHERE you want!! As long as you have internet and maybe a power outlet depending on what your playing, you can play anywhere!! On a long road trip, airplane, in the middle of the freakin woods. They might be limited to upgrades, but they have wayy more options than a console. Gaming PC's and gaming laptops are wayyy better than any console ever will be.
Console cost more in the long haul, paying 16.99 a month sure you get access to a lot of games but if you do the math in 4 months of having game pass you’ve paid a total of $67.96 the price of most modern games. That’s only in 4 months we all know we don’t cancel after 4 months so your getting charged a lot in a year. you can find plenty of games for cheap on pc just wait for deals. Also console doesn’t have much modding capability like modding in your single player game. Some games do support it but it isn’t the same as pc as pc as alot more you can do with mods. It’s the age old thing where you can get 1 marshmallow now or wait 10 minutes for 2 marshmallows. Pc overall is better value for money and modding and overall performance than console will be. Paying to play online is and will always be ridiculous.
The way my PC is setup launches directly into Steam Big Picture mode all my drivers etc… are done in the background. I can use a controller and like playing on my 4K LG C1 OLED TV. The console can't offer me anything my PC can't already do except be much less powerful and stuck in a dictated walled garden market.

The availability of emulation, cross platform games and indie games makes pc slightly better also free online multiplayer and modding
The single reason as to why pc is better as a console player is that you don’t have to have a monthly or yearly subscribtion to just play online on a pc
