Why do people say test drive is a rich car game, test drive ps2 was one of the best and fun car games and it was all about muscle cars.

We need to start in a trailer, earn those hotel rooms then earn the mansion n earn the yacht
Tried it on the PS5 and to be honest it has the best gameplay feel of these kinds of games that are currently available. Also the sounds are pretty good which adds to the immersion.
My only worry is still going to be the map size. Yes, I've enjoyed it right now because everything is new, but what happens when you've played through all the content…
It does have the best freeroam feel and potential per default, but also not given the size of the map.
Hopefully they add Taiwan as a DLC map(It's allowed to hope lol)
Unfortunately, it looks totally boring and sterile. As always, it's best to wait before buying and see how things develop.

Realistically this game is nothing like the original Test Drives. It takes elements but otherwise quite different.
The game should be delayed again for QOL checks, games always release un-ready nowadays, TDU has never been perfect but it always felt complete with the houses and interactivity.
if they done have houses to buy i wont even bother with the game.
If you have a Ferrari specific garage is it size locked, so if you have 1 Ferrari do you start with a 2-car garage that looks good and get the expansion for free or start with a 10+ car garage thats empty until you have multiple of a brand I’d rather it’s just my top 10-20
As an avid Test Drive Unlimited fan. I am not feeling this new release at all. The whole heart from the previous titles, just simply isn't there and everything feels off. I was so hyped for a new Test Drive Unlimited when I first heard rumours about it. But now that it's almost dropping, it just feels so incomplete in comparison to the previous games.
This is not a “Test Drive” game. This game is riding the coattails of the TDU name to sell more copies of a new driving game. Beta has been a total failure already and the release is scary close with the amount of issues to fix.
It kinda looks souless, doesnt look like a test drive game, it just doesnt have any style, its only realism, looks like a TC game
The cars seem to glide along with no weight to them at all. It looks pretty but the physics are complete crap.

I think it's pretty ready for a launch just needs some after launch improvements like more traffic and maybe some more optimization

How can they not add houses? People been crying out for it from the beginning 🤦 and a casino!
First of all, we need offline mode aswell, if we got that, everything else would be ok
Now I believe this should be 50 between offline and online, and maybe a little more online because there are more things to do with people than alone, that is key
And Im not talking about pvp, or racing, I mean like the simpliest things like just going on a cruise through the map with your friends, or gather on a spot where you see there is some people together, and you get there and everyone is showing their cars and stuff, thats why TDU back in the day was so peak!
Bro it was 07 and we hook up with people from all around the world just to cruise in Oahu, then maybe someday there was a meet show where they judge your car builds, it was incredible for those days, yes now you may have a lot of fancy stuff but those simple things, the fact that you could play the game the way you like, I really hope they acchieve someting outside the box with this because, TDU its one of my most beloved games of all, my top 3 in PS2, top 1 Xbox 360, and without a doubt top 1 PC, talking about racing games of course
In some years this franchise could be back to the greatness it was back in 2006, if you like the game, or did like TDU or TDU2 support this game, Im pretty sure the director its aiming to his dream concept of a racing game, yes maybe and old and outdated dream of a racing game, yes, but still way better than anything in the modern AAA scene
Project Gotham 3 had the best garage systems and experiences. That should be talked about more. I remember being in awe at the time.
Im excited for it, so many memories of tdu1 & 2. The stress levels of how much longer it took me to win the r8 spider from the casino compared to my mates is the only bad memory 🤣
The only thing that worries me about this new game is that its £45… which is quite cheap for a game in this day and age..
we need the houses with diffrent garage interiors, we need an offline mode, we need clothing shops, hairtstylers and plastic surgeons instead of the hotel being your main hub for everything, thats just boring… DON'T STREAMLINE TEST DRIVE!
The map is just too small. I still have roads on TDU 2 I'm yet to explore. Even after finishing all races. Ive played the beta of solar crown for about 6 hours and ive already explored most roads in a TT. End game exploration will be pointless in the new one. Driving the same roads but in a new fast car. No thanks. The hotel is awful. I can't get away from that place quick enough and the roads outside it are poo. The showrooms and the workshops are naff looking too. Way too big and unrealistic. How did the cars get in and out of these buildings? Gash.
Why do the parking lanes have floating text? Get rid.
The roof on Citroën 2CV doesn't roll down. How am i supposed to cruise in style. Sort it out.
This game looks bad and the map has the same shit as motorfest all mountain area taking most of it up what a lazy let down
“Houses will be added later” isn’t enough or convincing for me to pre order / buy this game. Honestly If they done exactly everything TDU2 done which is a game well over 10 years old this game will be great. On that note a remaster of tdu2 would be amazing
