Hello there fellow zombie slayers! My name is Stanley557! Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is a contentious game set in the world of Modern Warfare. A tale meant to further expand the undead into new entries but one that seemingly stopped being supported early into it’s development. What is MWZ about,…

  1. Hope you enjoyed the video! This review was a blast to work on and I'm so happy with how it came out except for the 45 music title cards which all say Fire Emblem Enage and not Engage. Thank you all so much for 15k subscribers!
But let me know what you all thought of the new music (if you could even hear it) wanted to try something that wasn't the same 14 tracks from my other reviews and I thought it worked really well this time around

  2. I enjoyed this mode for the most part and it was a welcome break to the sweatfest of MP, but unfortunately it was completely unplayable for me. 4/5 of my games would crash, and the extraction system lead to a frustrating experience. I grinded Vanguard zombies but it was impossible to play this.

  3. The deeper parts of MWZ just feel ungodly complex for something that was supposedly geared towards casuals. I personally dont really care because it gives the hardcore players more to do but the setup just for good items and stuff will never feel worth it and is why I am just havent fully gotten into the mode. I could spend a day of my time doing stuff and feel I've progressed so little in MWZ and its so demoralizing especially when you lose stuff. And solo play feels actively discouraged for once.

  4. I need a sound bite for THE MIMIC🗣️‼️
Also excellent video you and I basically share the same thoughts and opinions on what went well and what went wrong this was definitely a great project at first but then got left in the dust due to SHG not being a very capable studio (sorry advanced warfare fans i promise im one of you) and pressures from Activision and Microsoft plus treyarch being pulled between their own project and this.

    Edit.
Speaking on replayability but this mode is also entirely online and given how unpopular it is I definitely don't see it's servers being left on for very long let alone people playing it unless they're absolutely hardcore outbreak fans but once Microsoft/Activision pull the plug thats it I'm surprised DMZ still has servers tbh.

  5. when I first played season 1 of MWZ I rated MWZ as my 3rd favorite Zombies game, right behind BO3 and Cold War in that order (unless we include customs then BO3 goes above Cold War) but that rating assumed the seasons to come would be equal to season 1, and man the fact that didn't happen ruined MWZ for me, I still like it, I still think every zombies fan should play up to season 1s content, but after that? honestly? forget it, the ending is good but I nearly didn't even do the ending fight because of just how much I missed between season 1 and 5, like I did get the cool STG blueprint, but only because a different team went for it, I just had so much catching up to do that it wasn't even worth it

  6. Even though the mode got the bare minimum support, I still really enjoy it for what it is. I said to my friends at the start of the year, if the game never got an update I'd be ok with that just because of how much I love it at the core. Sure it sucks that it didn't get much support, but I'm just so glad it exists in the first place. This mode gave me exactly what I wanted back in mw2019 when the spec ops was advertised as giant missions in an open world type environment. It's not for everybody, but I love this mode and I'm gonna continue playing it alongside old and new round based maps

  7. Mw3 is not a bad mode this is coming from a og zombies players most of the players who say that the new bo6 zombies look like mwz probably most likely never gave it a try as it was not round base

  8. 2:12:20 Despite being built from DMZ, the game is actually missing some added in mechanics that would’ve really helped out both world weapons and sellable junk alike. Bartering was used in DMZ to turn sets of junk in for useful equipment, and there was an attachment workbench that let you freely remove attachments and pay a fee to add others. I don’t know why these weren’t added in post-lifecycle. And on top of that, if you were familiar with DMZ, a lot of old bugs that got fixed during that game (mostly aimbot mercs) returned here…

  9. this isnt super related to the video at large but, i discovered you on twitter a few weeks ago and you showed up on my feed slowly more and more with zombies related things and brought such a fun and refreshing take to see on everything when all i had ever seen in discussion with the mode for year it seemed at that point was solely negativity. i'm really glad to have discovered your channel and see such a refreshing take on everything to do zombies related and have genuinely good insight and thought into everything and feel like just "oh x thing is bad". your videos are fantastic and so clearly have so much love and talent behind them. excited to see anything and everything you put out content wise for this upcoming year. o7

  10. might be stupid but i feel like ima miss this game, the update releases were so different to what we're use to in zombies. hope they give it another chance after we get a year or 2 of sweet, sweet round based

  11. Absolutely amazing work of a video! Its pretty refreshing to see more videos with actual and fair criticisms! Can't wait to see more.

(Blink twice if Rizzo held you at gun point to put "THE MIMIC" sound effect everytime it was seen. Ngl it was low-key very distracting from watching the video and would have been better without it)

  12. I'm glad you could see the good within mwz alongside the bad rather than just domming on the game mode like Mr. Waffle would do all because it's not round base and BO3. I'm happy to see that you could be positive with mwz.

  13. possible slight editing hiccup 1:13:45 to 1:14:23? idk if its just that two points started off very similar but it sounds like two different takes of the same line made it into the final video

anyway, I'm really enjoying the video so far, I never bought MWIII 2023 (not to be confused with MW3 and which features maps from MW2 not to be confused with MWII) so I've been a spectator this whole year. Fun to hear another take on the things I've heard just in passing during conversation.

  14. I love mwz but it doesn't really feel like zombies and that's okay. It's just that the implication is. It should be like the zombies we all know and love when it can stand still on its own as its own genre. I hope they bring it back for more modern warfare games when we don't end up getting round-based zombies

  15. Was really enjoying the game but the 2-3 day cooldown on crafting absolutely ruined the game (along with the lack of content after season 1).
I mean, what company stops players from playing their own game? You expect to see that crap in mobile games microtransactions with time speed ups (which is what I suspect but microtransactions weren't implemented).
BO6 will be my last zombie COD then I'll leave COD to die the death it should have years ago. I imagine if COD was sentient, it would be begging to be put out of it's misery.
    P.S. Great Video, Stanley

  16. Great review Stanley, to me this game had so much potential especially during the launch but as time went on it was clear that the mode was abandoned and the reuse of Warzone assists was a little disappointing but I’m looking forward to BO6 zombies it looks so good
