  1. Very frustrating since I feel like I have the desire to attract attention from others to make myself feel better an awful lot, then shriek away when I get that attention. I thought for me it was more Cluster C Avoidant but I’m on this spectrum and really only just now understand 30 years of behaviour. Never managed to get into a relationship with anyone, ever even when it’s all I wanted more than anything. . My therapist thought I was more GAD but I just don’t know anymore.

  2. I am sure that coffee causes all kinds of symptoms that are nowadays called mental illnesses. Or that people are diagnosed with all kind of mental disorders that actually are just side effects of coffee.

  3. In the ICD, there's a single personality disorder with a variety of severities and a variety of traits. Can a predominant Histrionic with borderline traits abuse substances?

  4. Doctor what do you know about histrionics suffering when their man looks at other woman ? ( i know a group of people that they cant even be outside of their homes cause of the fear of their man looking and admiring other woman, that awakes a narcissistic (herida) in them and its impossible to deal with… Do you have information about this issue ? Can you talk about it please

  5. Lastly, my Uncle Elijah, (Uncle E.) who served in Viet Nam, came back with PTSD, and would often drink, and go berserk!😢 My mom was oldest of 4, brothers, and the sweetest, person in the world. Uncle E. was a gentle giant!

  6. Listen to this! My Grandfather was a twin, with my Aunt Ida, and my mom, his daughter suffered from migraines! Back in when Coka Cola had real cocaine in it, my mom drank Coke, and would take a "B.C. Powder" for her headaches. I may have been predisposed for the addiction, and for my past high, caffeine intake!😯

  7. Caffeine is absolutely another link! My parents were teachers my whole life! Dad made coffee 1st, thing every morning! Dad cooked breakfast for the family, while mom got dressed. After my brother went off to college, it was just mom, dad, & me! Today, it's the 1, thing I've done! I either make it myself and I only buy Starbuck's, or I'll buy from the Starbuck's, McDonald's, or any premium brand! Yes, obssessed!😂

  8. 17, years??🙄 I was on both the MSU, Rugby Team, the Karate Club, and Marching Band, my freshman year, in 1980!😂 Yeah, I'm 61, add it up, doc! That's insane! I eat Chipolte at least 3, times a week! Total health nut! I worked as a chef, at Chili's, managed a Krispy Kreme, Garde Mange Chef at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel! My dad was a Navy Chef, in WWII, & Korean War! Mom grew up on a farm! We loved cooking as a family unit! Taught me everything! Wow! I guess I'm obsessed with food now!😂

  9. I was an athlete and a runner my since grade school!🙂 I also love food, cooking for others and eating, but I rarely take in more than 1200, calories, in my mind! I'm a sugar, junkie and love coffee, but from 1985-1986, I used "blow", and it made me crazy, so I got treatment, with my parent's help! Addiction was terrifying! Loss of control is a Narcissist's worst nightmare!😂If you've never experienced "Drug induced psychosis?" I don't recommend COKE!😲😱

  10. I thought histrionics were hysterical women who were high maintenance.
Thanks for clarifying this subject and as always appreciate your fun sense of humor.

  11. Gender and race bias is the norm rather than the exception with the entire medical industry, not just psychiatry.

I have had too many therapists call me a liar and claim that statistics prove that 4 out of 5 child abuse victms are impoverished minorities and physical abuse by a male parent only happens to boys. They found it impossible to believe that a 6 foot 3 inch, 250 pound, 6-figure income Longshoreman would physically beat up his stepdaughter from the age of 4 until 15 years of age while the mother not only ignored everything but also told her daughter to just "be good".

Studies are now showing that what was believed to be untreatable borderline personality disorder may in fact be Complex PTSD.

YouTube is a blessing for those of us who cannot trust so-called educated professionals.

  12. A Professional Stalker in my book. Knows no boundaries. Arrogant and entitled. With a bit of money believe they are better than everyone else and are justified in destroying families.Filling their narcissistic supply at any cost. Truly a destructive, disturbing human being. Passing off their pathological behavior as normalcy. Or worse yet, as love.

  13. It’s surprising how many personality disorders center around a need for attention and admiration. Not to make a generalization, but how much of this could be improved with healthier childhoods?

  14. I was brought up watching Marilyn Monroe on tv as an icon of the most desirable female icon. Little girls are progammed to copy the most successful woman. My take is that from cinema to tv to social media we have created this problem or at least made it worse, did we have this in tribal communities?

  15. My brother-in-law would stop on the road before he got to our house and lie on the hood of his car posing like a model while his wife drove them into the driveway. He was thrown out of every pub within his home area. He blatantly flirted with other men’s wives in front of them. I could go on and on.
