Let’s settle this debate! Genuine Stihl vs a couple of knock offs. Chainsaws compared for weight, fuel efficiency, pulling force to start the saw, cold temperature starting performance, torque, no load sprocket speed, cutting speed on manufactured log, cutting speed with 5 pounds of weight on…

  1. As usual, premium is the best and of you use it often it's the way to go. But if You use it just from time to time some budget tools are really great for the job.

  2. When felling trees, the reliability of the saw is of paramount importance. Once you have started cutting into the trunk, you have passed the point of no return. If the saw then breaks down or stops, you have a problem.

If only bucking or limbing trees, it will only be an annoyance if the saw stops.

  3. To get the most accurate results And exclude the CHAIN QUALITY ASPECT 🤔 I think it would be good to have exactly the same branded Chain running on each of the different saws just a thought 🤷

  4. Great video and information. Testing was excellent. I have a 16” Husqvarna that has performed very well for almost 20 years. Would be nice to see a Stihl Vs Husky showdown.

  5. I reckon that 58CC could be improved a lot with a bit of tuning. I've found the trick with cheap chinese power tools is to be willing to fiddle and tinker with them to get the most out of them.

  6. conclusion never buy commie chinese anything it never works EVER,ALWAYS BUY CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVE WORLD DOMINANT CATHOLIC PRODUCTS that crush the commies of satan-AMEN THANK YOU JESUS

  7. I like this test, because I have an 026 Stihl and a 260 pro, but once I cut a Hard Maple log of 31 Inches inside the bark at 45 seconds cut with an 066 magnum with the red eye.
They are some of the best saws.

  8. Landscaper here. Instead of using a funnel to fuel. I put fuel and bar oil in condiment bottles for saws and tools with small openings. And if you’re taking ten pulls to start a Stihl 291 you don’t know what you’re doing.

  9. 1/5th the cost, performance is slightly less. Tells you that Stihl doesn't base their prices on performance but name recognition and Made in USA. Cannot see paying $500 to $1,000 when you can get a knockoff saw for $100. Unfortunately I bought the "cheapest" Stihl (MS170) yesterday for $200 before finding this video. Had I see this video I would have bought a China saw. I only need it to cut down small trees and turn them into bonfire wood.
