I think a way to balance this would be to have every time the hunted kills one of the hunters, his hearts get cut in half. Each time.

a better idea would to be the doing the same thing for the hunters you should give them a heart show and increase the amount of blocks needed to mine to get a heart should not be able to get op items when 3 people mine 10 blocks each! to many hearts to fast make it a real series by allowing them to get heart from block you mine or food you eat to restore hearts! give them a chance to get op items maybe some strength 2 for the hunters to do more damage to you

manhunt idea: you are unkillable (you take dmg though) but if all three of the hunters say that you are unkillable as the twist (not just saying that you wont die) then you are now it seems like its a bit boring so adding something like you get items with kills or something
