That’s your opinion because you’ve brought a premium bike that’s Nike from the US and most people I seen whine about it. There is one simple way to afford all this research, it’s that simple here in the UK these bikes are loved, they make me smile every time I get on it and haven’t heard one person here whine about them as a matter of fact we love them. Aprilia of old were 🐕 💩 but things have changed and they have moved on now producing a gorgeous machine. You go on about a bike that is a status symbol but you run a YouTube page for likes so not much difference really and you would say this to stir people up to look and reply like myself which totally contradicts the status symbol comment. This is an amazing bike not doubt in our mind at all.
I had a Aprilia SXV 450 sumo that was very reliable. I did stick to the recommended service intervals that included new pistons every 60 hours. I’m not kidding, also complete tear down of entire engine and gearbox every 90 hours, cut that in half if racing.
I think some people (wink wink) are stuck with the reputation brands earned in the past and have steadily outgrown. Find me some statistics that prove that Aprilias in the last 3-5 years have had more issues than some comparable brands that are putting out the same level of motorcycle. Search a forum for any bike and you’ll find people complaining about issues. Hondas, suzukis, Aprilia, Yamaha. Every brand had problems with a bad bike getting through the QC and had had recalls. It says a lot that Aprilia offers a longer standard warranty than the Japanese brands that will happily SELL you an extended warranty.

Your could not be more wrong !! You pay for what you get. My Ducati 1299 is a freaking amazing bike. Bought new and tech and performance is just incredible … you clearly have little to zero riding skill to actually push a bike to know the difference.

Has a kawi and Suzuki and both of those have needed more repairs than his bike.
I’ve never had any issues with my rs660. Everyone said I would. Everyone said they cost too much to fix but it’s a hobby so I expect to spend money. Seems like everyone who talks down on it in my circle rides 20 year old bikes😂
