Thats awesome! They make great gear. One thought though….. the phrase “don’t put all your eggs in one basket” comes to mind. It’s not IF but WHEN will hardware fail you.

Dealing with the pain or hardware passthrough is the reason I abandoned my threadripper based 16 drive hot swap server for a small NUC and NAS. I went the opposite of you and using portainer/docker and containers I’m thrilled. It’s not as sexy as that beast, but it just works.

this thing can litterally replace all your actual device xD
you can maybe use one of those mini pc to install only home assistant, so you can stop 'lying" about using a container instant of VM xD
