Hey everyone! π In today’s video, I’m diving into a double whammy of tech updates! First up, I’ll show you how I tackled a much-needed rack clean-up and organization project. Watch as I swap out GPUs, manage cables, and make my server space look so much cleaner.
Then, we’re venturing into…

After several failed starts with Ansible from a purely CLI approach, Semaphore UI looks like it may be a useful way forward, especially now with all the repositories of templates available. Thanks for the video.
Interesting…. going back to your LXC template video , the template container I created includes a cron to update at a set hour/minute.
After it's cloned I'll change the cron time's minute to match the last 2 numerics of the new container IP so they don't all try to update at the same time.
Mind you that's specifically just for updates. Not running commands over multiple containers at the same time which is where I think Ansible shines.
It's the same with backups. Schedule times match the last 2 numerics so they don't all try to backup at the same time
Iβm using GitHub actions here. Itβs a lot lighter, as all thatβs required is a selfhosted lxc container running. I could never get this working.
great video, i watch some video about Ansible but never try it (because of command line), i didnt search if a UI version existed, thank, now i'm gonna try ansible semaphore,
i'm gonna mostly use it to update the OS for all my lxc
using a UI is more easy to begin for some software
great video
I think, you should vacuum the floor and rack shelfs as well.
For your health.
