I'm a player who's been into PoE for years but I always played bows and I had no clue how brands work in general. I'm still getting used to it but this helped greatly.

I've done both testing and maths: Runebinder is always a gain in DPS at cap, though it's a low enough gain to not be an auto-include the way it is for "normal" brand builds. It does very much shorten the ramp time. That said, I don't love it for clear, especially since my (very different) setup uses the jumping brands mastery to clear instead of Oriath's End and having two brands jump to the same mob can lead to one of them snapping back to where I cast it.
Definitely agree with PoB on dropping swiftbrand and the duration investment, though.

Is the tree/build exactly the same for Champion if I have the Forbidden jewels for Masterful Form?
Nebulis pathfinder better. Also can use vaal smite for better mapping.
Just fyi you can get another 10 dex if you change your pathing near the left side jewel. Makes the starve a bit easier
I just finished the campaign with a charge-stacking Slayer. Bladefall of Impaling with Brutal Charges. A single cast phased/killed every boss since hitting 38. I started with Champion until I was able to start stacking charges. I'll definitely be grabbing the extra impale from Champ at some point down the road or switching back to Champ if I have the 30 Divs for the Forbidden jewels. On paper, it looks terrible. In PoB, it looks terrible. . . Until you realize you're hitting up to 75 times per cast with unleash/cascade. Awakened. . . We'll be looking at a 150 hit cap.
I've been loving this as an Inquis. Spent 30Div today on some improvements after litterally making zero investment beyond y 6 link body armor and the PB of D gem to get rolling. And I've killed everything but Uber Uber Elder with it at this point.
Got to grind for this in SSF. Got the shield already. Kappa

Love to see frost shield getting some use. Ive been using it for a few leagues now and thought its better than people give it credit for. Especially on builds with a ton of AoE
