3.23 is for sure cool to see but too much bug. , inventary, looting , local inventary infinite loading (in my case, , vulture ladder not work, bedlogin not work, reclsimer sometimes spawn without elevators. ……..mah , we will see what happen with 3.23.1 patch.
I was trying to lot my self some stuff after wipe now. Got no more money 🙂 My expirience was exactly like yours. This is not a special situation, this is new normal. :-/

Now the “x” to close inventory for me does not work now when I click it, I have to push “I” on keyboard to close the OG inventory…. Maybe that is the feature they will fix in 3.23”X”

I could loot normally yesterday. I did about 4 box delivery missions and looted every outpost. It seems like there are less boxes and less loot in the boxes. I found that the 'F' option sometimes didn't show while standing near the box but kneeling seemed to make it work. Also, holding the 'F' lets you choose to open the box and that looks like the old looting screen. I did run into one unopenable box.
I have noticed the ones in the main Mining commodities building dont really work very well. The ones in the other building seemed to work a lot better for me.
Easiest solution you can pick up the crates now in invetory mode and move them into the invetory of the mining post and than loot them there.
They removed the loot boxes because they want people to smash their keyboards with all the broken missions.

I've been keeping an eye on SC since 2012 (I played Freelancer for many years (about 15 years, once every year i'd play it), knew about CR not being able to finish Freelancer etc).
About 9 months ago, i tried out SC via the FFE, took 8 hrs to finish the intro training mission, then i tried to do my first box mission, died twice, no helmet, third time ran to the outpost you were in, no helmet again, made it in just; The first room you were in, i asked if anyone would bring me helmet, food and water and a couple of med pens for 10k, the ppl were super nice and helpful, two ppl came out, they didn't even want anything…
They at first couldn't even find my ship (titan), i had parked it about 20M from the outpost (rear facing outpost, ramp down), they found it 100m away in a boulder…
I jumped up on that window to see where they were to guide them, i got stuck there; It seems i desynced, they had been looking in that room and couldn;t see me, they were started to think i was tricking them; So, out of a 30 day event i uninstalled after 2 days…
I've been gaming for 26 years, i've played many space games (first 3d game was FreeSpace 1& 2) and hundreds of other games (i had 450 plus about 50 expansions), Played sunautica in early access, quiet buggy for a year, you should have seen that; SC was the worst experience i've ever had…

Yeah allot of these boxes no matter where you go do not work, and I thought I was just unlucky, after the update about checki8ng out loot boxes, but totally agree, there is just crap in there now, or many times they are not even spawned, even after staying at one location for 45 minutes or more! And the freaking light in the decompression chamber……dont tell me its a new feature and not a bug!!!! Wow after rigorous testing in EVO, EPTU 1,2,3 and all waves…..still bugged as Hell! but only positive is, at least it is not as bad as 3.18 was, if that is any comfort at all!

looting stuff in general has been pretty jank in 3.23, a lot of server related jank going on right now imo.

Did a bunker mission….no enemies spawned, no boxes to loot, and had to abandon mission with no pay and a waste of my time. Keep up the videos, I'm done with the game for awhile.
The new people at CIG are people who do not know nor play this game. They are just people happy to get a job!

They break 3 times more things than they add and all added things are broken too. Complete incompetence.
In the top roght corner there is an arrow. While looting a box, it will take you to the normal system of moving loot.

I think i might buy dcs or msfs to get my flight on until 3.23.xxxxx, goddamnit i don't want to go back to playing dayz….also a good thing i waited, i was seriously about to pull the trigger on some virpils….that would have been another wasted 1.3k….
Oh….and between last night and this morning all my keybinds got reset…so spend all that time to get things sorted for your particular play style and nope….this new update can't hold on to them for longer than 10 hours.
An for the life of me, I can't get the keybinds for the weapon wheels to work, i can't get 1,2,3,4,5 to pull out weapons unless i go in through the interact wheel and rebind them there
I am so disappointed. I had so much fun in 3.22. I pledged a vulture when they first came out for exactly this situation…wiped auec, rep, cash…vulture check…go salvage check. 100k in rmc vanishes out of my vulture when i stored it and called it back in…derp!

As you showed, loot is nerfed at mining sites, interaction is too buggy, inventory space in ships was cut drastically down, someone said you can't put ship parts in ship inventory any more. Can you put them in storage boxes? how am i supposed to sell the old parts from ships i upgraded if i cant move them around to the space stations where they can be sold? What about clearing out my inventory of those old parts so when there is another wipe and all the aftermarket parts in put on get dumped into my local…happens every time, your ships get reset to factory default, all the faster qt drives get dumped into your local….oh, wait, not enough space because you couldn't get rid of the old parts…guess what, you are going to loose the parts you earned auec to buy when your local inventory gets maxed out. It has happened to me several times when there were wipes and patches.
This is just so disappointing. I have been asking this rhetorically since I started playing in 317, how can you break stuff in the new patch that was perfectly working in the old patch?
Seriously…do the devs even actually play this game? Do they ever actually play this game and play through all the loops not as devs that maybe they have some administrative level attributes on their account, but do they play on just standard accounts like the rest of us so they can see the mess they are pushing on the live servers? I dunno…i am gonna quit bitching now…
Just tried some ERTs with my 600i. Serves sucks as usual, combat is unfunny, I quit. So long 3.23. Maybe I'll come back in a while, but now it's a chore.
I'm starting to feel like this guy. Had to redo settings in voice attack, stick and throttle, not even bothering with game glass, the new interaction protocols are shit, master modes is a joke in my opinion. I'm hoping they get their shit together before this turns into another Star Wars Galaxies fiasco.
You can also drag those boxes into local inventory now as well.

lol oh you didn’t know that according to CIG it’s our fault we didn’t get more people in to test the ptu so their only option was to release it in a god awful state for “data” purposes and they used that exact same excuse with 3.18
