Can i transfer my local save (200+ hours) into my new steam dedicated server ? They always ask him to create a new character, but the map from my local save is transferred correctly, the annotations are the same as on my local save. My character and bases are not transferred.
will this show up in the community servers or are they different from the steam dedicated servers?
if dedicated server admin shutting down his pc the server is no more or we can play without any issue?

I tried to create a server following the method, i was able to join it on my own but my friends cant join it over the internet. I'm think it would probably due to the port forwarding issue, could you give me some advice on this? i have the fibre connected to the Huawei OptiXstar HG8145X6-10 and i used lan cable connect it to my deco x20, then i have another deco x20 connect to the main deco x20 wirelessly and my pc is connected to the 2nd deco x20. I did the port forwarding on both the deco x20 and huawei modem router, but it just dont work
The issue is my server 1. I cant change the name of it 2. idk how to port this i've tried so many ways and tutorials

Does anyone know how to make it to 20 max workers in base? I already changed from 15 to 20 in both folder settings but it didn't work and my base is already level 20
I have the same setup as you as I'm using 2 router, idk that I have to port forward both router;
Use the 2nd router IP address on the main router settings and then my PC IP address on the 2nd router setting.
