  1. UPDATE: I forgot to mention that you'll need to change the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) before you restart Apache, otherwise redirects won't work properly. You can do this one of two ways: either in the Settings > General tab on your WordPress dashboard, or in phpMyAdmin > wordpress database > wp_options table. Change the http IP address to the https:// version of the domain you purchased.

  2. Your tutorial was very comprehensive and helpful. I installed WordPress exactly as you instructed, and everything was working correctly. However, when I followed your instructions to activate SSL, my site stopped working and I received the following message in my browser: "The page isn’t redirecting properly." How can I fix this?
