  1. I think some of the sloppy doctrinal evolution chain of ideas that spawned pentacostalism is indeed messy, and is filled with eroneous stuff, but i think the moce to embrace and seek the gifts, and take ownership of the role of the chirch in the world (spiritual warfare, realized eschatology) is indeed good. Functionally, there's something real and good going on with the baptism of the holy spirit, even if there's a misnomer or category error here.

  2. They call their beliefs "revival", then they blame the Nicean council for getting all if Christendom off track. So then we've been drifting away for 1500+ yrs. They don't acknowledge any signs and wonders outside of the denomination as being true, i.e. Smithe Wiggllsworth. UPCI is completely based on things after Azuza street. There is no history.
Nepotism is DEFINITELY normal in the UPCI. There is zero discernment or seeking God about church leadership. Then there is mo accountability. Look into the California church ran by Kim Haney.
I could go on and in. I left the UPCI two years ago and am disentanglining. It's lonely, stressful and frustrating. I literally haven cut my hair because i don't want to hurt the few friends i have left! The standard are the new circumcision!

  3. Good stream guys. I generally think interracial marriages are unwise in the same way marriages with a 30 year age difference are unwise. The more similar two people are the more likely your marriage can work. Studies prove this.
That being said there is nothing immoral or unscriptural about such a union.

  4. Natalie is gaining influence. I have seen a pastor or two on FB cautioning their flock to not have anything to do with her material. Funny how there are so many similarities between different fundamentalist movements.

  5. What a testimony. I've slept in my car because a missionary sister I knew was homeless for a bit from persecution and I wanted to see what it was like. And the Lord Jesus didn't have a house.

  6. Hyper-Fundamentalism IS the exact proper term for the independent fundamental Baptist movement in and of itself, stemming directly from John Franklin Norris. This label ought to be used to characterize historically the IFB movement. It is without a doubt hyper-fundamentalism.
