I used media creation tool to update from Windows 10 to Windows 11 (clean install) and it offered me the choice of a local user.
the only way to fix windows is to delete it
the collection of user data for any reason is nefarious it doesn't matter what Microsoft does with the data once they collect it it is the act of collecting it that is nefarious

My keyboard does not have a separate number Keypad, no numlock. It is a MK-Star75 Mechanical keyboard with backlighting. LOL I did install Thorium, thanks for the nice browser. Edge is no longer the primary browser. May uninstall it eventually.

Which Windows version do you recommend for windows 11 ? or should i stick to windows 10 better ?
For people who don't know this, Windows started to integrate Internet Explorer into Windows because the European Union foorbade to bundle Windows with other software like a browser and videoplayer. That was why you couldn't remove software like Internet Explorer. So now MS has the same shenanigan with Edge, which is insane considering that Edge just is a GUI-skin on Chromium, so that should never be a part of the Windows operating system.
Just live in europe to uninstall edge lol
If you choose Join a domain it lets you go for local account
