Hip-hop was originally sung in English by black people in the US. But now many countries around the world sing hip-hop in their own language. Recall that at first, hip-hop from other countries was criticized as not being hip-hop.

VCHA is pronounced as 'Vee-Cha'. Their group name VCHA comes from a Korean word called "๋น์ณ". It means 'to illuminate' or 'to shine upon'.
VCHA is a 6 member North American Girl group under JYP Entertainment and Republic Records Formed through to survival show A2K (America 2 Korea) with members ranging from 18 to 13 years old as I said it is a North American group with 5 American members and 1 Canadian member.
Camila – is 18 and the oldest member from Canada she is seen in the the classroom and is the first to sing
KG – is 16 and is the one with the guitar
Kendall -is 17 she is seen painting
Kaylee- is 13 and the maknae (the youngest member of the group) she is seen doing an audition
Savanna- is 17 she is seen doing gymnastics as she has a background in it
Lexus/Lexi- is 17 she is seen doing ballet as she has an background in it

They are all under twenty! The oldest is 18 and the youngest will be 14 in November.
Not impressed. The only thing unique about them is that they are a multiethnic and multinational group by JYP. That's all. Otherwise, their talents are mediocre, at best.

It has an online A2K show… (American 2 Korea) by J.Y. Park and Republic Records, the contestant was chosen in the USA and traveled to Korea for the show. Ages 18 to 13.
They are all from 13 to 16 years old btw

VCHA is something similar for North-America that NiziU is for Japan and the creation was done with a very similar survial show (A2K <-> Nizi Project).
Interestingly they already performed this pre-debut track two times in Korean music shows (Music Bank, Show Music Core).

So glad that korean kpop fans in korea are welcoming them, BUT I hope they have strong mentality and support each other. Because once a group enter a kpop world and have performance in korea the pressure will be strong. Korean fans are so strict when it comes to group that have no any korean member in it. And this global group based the audition in america..I hope they're doing well โคโคโค

Should try The Daily Life of the Immortal King ops they're pretty good for a chinese anime though the season 2 op isn't quite as good if it's without the opening video.
Check out KAACHI "Your Turn" since you're curious about a western group in the Kpop style…They're London-based and their music videos were filmed in London so you might recognize the backgrounds ๐
oh they're received well. They're a group by JYP, one of the behemoth labels in Kpop. The members were decided by a survival show, which is one of the most known tropes in how several huge Kpop groups were made.
If you want to know a "Kpop style" group in the West that most people were "upset" with, try checking out KAACHI.
Compare their debut music video "Your Turn" with VCHA's Y.O.Universe (which is a predebut single btw, they're still coming out with their proper debut song and video).
I want you to develop your own thoughts about it but imho , they're MASSIVELY different
