Definitely the gayest thing I've heard all week lol
My last comment, can we just talk about how everyone calls the LS the anime weapon. When, in reality, the insect glaive is just as anime 🤣
How does charge blade sound more complicated in World then it was in Rise?
(My very first weapon was HH, switched to SnS before I got to rise and switched to CB)
Every single time I step away from MH and then comeback I pick up a different weapon. It helps me learn every weapon and keeps the game fresh. Definitely my favorite way to play
Edit: haven’t used ranged weapons almost at all. The few times I did I absolutely HATED it
Primarily a Bow and Dual Blades main since 2013. Love the stamina management and balancing offensive skills with evasion/stamina skills in the latest two games. I also enjoy a bit of Charge Blade and LBG. I've been playing through Worldborne with Greatsword, recently, and I must say it's the most difficult weapon I've tried to use due to it's slow attacks and importance when it comes to positioning. The only reason I've gotten as far as I have as easily as I have is thousands of hours of prior experience with the game. For being, on the surface, the simplest weapon, I think GS is the hardest to learn because it requires lots of game sense rather than just learning the weapon.
this is a fantastic summary Dan!
Bonking giant monsters since MHFU.
-A Hammer main
On the long sword , if your mid air and the monster turns your can hit triangle on ps to turn in mid air
20:55 "but with extra freedom" HAHAHAHAH😭😭
I just started playing mhw a month ago, i fell in love with dual blades, then sns, and then ls… But ultimately I've been smashing MR with solo hbg
GS MAIN AND WHAT CAN I SAY EXCEPT UNGGA BUNGGA!
Huntinghorn/Hammer Main Here. People Love me even If they dont say IT haha. Dualblades Love my Max stamina buff and everyone loves the health, Attack and defense Up buff. 😎
Hammer looks fun 🤩
GS Represent!
charge blade is so rewarding and really not that hard to learn just alot to remember. i know the CB inside and out but can't get my head around switch axe for the life of me 😂( learning guard points is alot easier then it sounds but allows you to be far more aggresive and actually is a great skill to learn for other weapons aswell that use counters or i-frames as its timing based)
The charge blade is a swiss army knife with it's multiple unique playstyles. The most important thing to do is just keep your shield charged. From there, all the weapons moves and abilities get fully unlocked. It is a complex weapon with many moving parts, the timers and gages you have to keep track of, but I can confidently say it's the most satisfying weapon to master. For those up for a challenge, the Charge Blade should be your go-to
Interesting tidbit about Hunting horn. It has one of the strongest clutch claw attacks in the game. And strangely enough it's mounting finisher attack is unbelievably strong, one of the strongest in the game. It isn't out of the ordinary with a powerful endgame build for the mounting finisher to deal over 1000 damage. Raw hunting horn is very strong, but in certain matchups against monsters that have very good elemental hitzone values. Elemental Hunting horn can be exceptionally powerful. The echo spin attack scales quite well with elemental damage and can do BIG numbers.
Sns main here. You missed something important. Sns CAN wound parts in one clutch claw attack without the clutch claw boost skill. You just need to clutch on to the monster with the clutch claw uppercut, then do your clutch claw attack. It will wound in one go. Clutch claw uppercut can be tricky to land and requires some practice, but mastering it is essential for advanced Sns play. Sns and dual blades are the only 2 light weapons that can wound in one attack.
Congratulations on hitting 10 000 subscribers! Loving your videos and this game
1st stage of HH: Playing most songs in your list
2nd stage of HH: Using flourish and hilt stab to queue songs faster
3rd stage of HH: Dealing increased DPS using performance attacks on heads
4th stage of HH: sniping monster heads, forward backslams, you are waltz of death to the poor creature before you while your teammates getting buffed is just a secondary consequence of wrath that you bring
5th stage of HH: Actually playing stamina songs when IG, DB, Bow users are in a party <3
Putting all weapons on a single video attracts the attention of multiple weapon cult so…. CB mains charge!!! 😂😂😂
Like a wise man once said: "They're masterworks all, you can't go wrong."
Where’s my fellow lovers of the big stick
ive used every weapon extensively (mhr and hr 999 with almost 4k hours spread on 3 saves) and long sword is unironically the hardest to master for me, charge blade was way easier to understand haha
I’ve been a Lance main for 400 hours, just beat Iceborne base game (took my time) and thinking about having Great Sword or Hammer as a secondary. Let’s go 💥💥💥
Sword and Shield has Claw Uppercut 💪🏻
Guys how can I make my weapon flash red when I swing it like in the vid?
U Said u can Transform Ur lbg to counter Wyvern. But how? Is it a mod or just the Right input? I use xbox Controller so normally its aim+B to out in gorund, havent figure out how to counter atm
You got the sub and like brody, I saw the events posts and this my 3rd time here. So here we stay
Hunting Horn main here! While the songs and notes might look a little scary at first it’s actually quite simple and intuitive and only takes about a day to really get the feel for things. Depending on which Horn you pick, after a bit of playtime you’ll develop your own combos to link your notes together to queue up your songs for a recital. If you have a Horn with a Red Note (and also bought Iceborne) you gain access to the Impact Echo Wave which is a very simple and strong offensive move for when a monster is downed. Line up three, pop your three blasts, encore for the big one on the head.
Positioning and getting a feel for your speed is key but thanks to Self Improvement which comes on all horns, you’re basically never going to bounce off a monster’s hide so you spend less time worrying about hitzones and more time setting up songs or moving into a good spot to land the big parts of your combos.
bonus tip for insect glaive is that all 3 buffs also give you lvl 3 earplugs (at least in rise) on top of the 3 buffs
New LS user here, but along with the dope ass counters the sound it makes when you counter just keeps me on playing LS. (the regular iai slash has i frames too, its useful if you’re not confident in the spirit slash or want to practice but i have been informed the regular iai slash has less invincibility frames)
AWESOME VIDEO
LANCE TEAMMMMMMMM
Me sitting here overwhelmed trying to find a good secondary weapon that I can love outside of bow. 😂 perfect timing on the video 👌🏽
Yesss we have still good mhw videos in 2024
IG main here. im gonna go ahead and say, if you want to have the most fun possible in this game, use insect glaive. i ran some calculations and according to my data, during a hunt the insect glaive gives the most serotonin per second (sps) of any weapon in this game. give it a try if you havent already, say no to gravity, and come fly with us.
Love your Monster Hunter content man!!
