Hey guys, when this video launched, it contained some erroneous information due to unit conversion errors that made the van's existing lead acid batteries sound like they had a lot less capacity compared to the DJI lithium batteries. Sadly, we actually caught the error before publishing but failed to address it properly. We have now cut that info from the video (apologies if you can detect a couple weird cuts) and are improving our processes to mitigate this happening again..
In the end, the DJI batteries are used to power the gaming elements, while the lead acid batteries power the van's functions. Altogether, Emily has effectively double the watt hours compared to before the project: the lead acid batteries are 400Ah x 12V = 4800Wh, but you can only use roughly 50% of the capacity of a lead acid battery, giving us a useable 2400Wh from those two batteries- plus the 2048Wh we get from the two DJI Power 1000s.
Why so much power? those machines need like 75% of that or less. my rtx 3090 machine only needs 850w

I can only imagine how hot it will get in that camper! Can the AC even keep up? I have one gaming PC in an RV and it's impossible to be in it during the day without the AC, and with AC it's not a ton better.

Hey, Linus why don't you make tunnel-like air channels to give each component its separate fan for better cooling . the GPU can have 3 fans , and the CPU 3 and others 1 or 2 fans. would it be more efficient if the whole thing is one then cooling wouldn't be the best but if separated maybe the temps can drop by 10 to 14

I seriously hope she just rips all this way too bulky, too expensive, too power hungry garbage out, sells it all, buys a couple of great gaming laptops and pockets the extra three grand. At least then they can do things like play games for more than a half hour or watch half a movie!
