Palworld dedicated servers at launch has a bug where you’re not able to input password to direct connect to the server. This is a workaround which while kludgy, might be enough to keep you running until the bug is fixed.

How can I port my offline game to the server?
Need help, i got the servers upand got some guys in there but somehow my roommate cant join with same network but everyone else can. Would you know anythimg of this or fix?
This is so weird. This actually worked first time i tryed. But now it wont show server in recent list anymore and no matter i repeat this method and wait long time, it wont show up. So it worked once and thats it.
I DONT HAVE AN INI FILE! YES I RE DOWNLOAED THE GAME OFF STEAM.. NO INI FILE STILL….

Another workaround for joining with the IP is trying to join a password protected community server, typing your password, hit OK and then NO and then try to join again with the IP and the password should be saved and let you join

My Palworld Folder looks different to yours dont finde the configs..

I was playing with some of my friends the said that I needed only to put the ip and play and its the same you are showing in the video and it worked but after about 40 minutes the game discconect from the server and now I cant log in again, it says: connection timed out.
so i joined my server running off a secondary PC and then exited game. opened the game again just to see if server shows up in recent servers and it does not. even after waiting a long time(30min). i continuously clicked recent servers to refresh. I did no reboot the server with a password. Just wanted to see if it would even show up. I guess i'll wait a day or so and hope they get it fixed. Otherwise do you have a suggestion?
This work around helped me 100%. We also followed the method to let everyone in and then lock it. Everyone joined in via password after i locked it down with no issues.
Made sure i dont have a password and i still get the error?
not sure if its just me but i dont have the INI folder at all i just have the manifest and script files but no ini … so i cant try if i wanted to sadly
My server works fine without a password added, as soon as I add a password to it I am no longer able to connect. Even if I prompt the password input by going to recent servers. I have no idea why.
whenever i click connect it joins fine , but if i try getting in the server from the recent then i get an error. any fix for that?
