Hey nooblets, I have noticed an interesting bug for the game on PS5 where im placing wooden wooden pillars on a megabuild im making and when i pick one up to readjust the snap point I pick up 10 other pillars at different points of my build that aren't attached to the one I picked up, and just recently those 10 pillars turned into platforms. I dont know if you yourself have experienced this bug or if anyone else has but any tips or advice aside from picking anything else on my build up while building?
In your time hosting Asa have you had to worry about the bandwith cap that is in place with PingPerfect?

hey nooblets how much ram and CPU power do you need for one server? Update I switched from Nitrado to Pingperfect as I can see why people do not like them. Terrible support. I have only 4 days remaining for a 20 slot server which I upgraded to a 30 player server for no additional cost.

If hosting at home does it use a lot of my internet connection?
my friend gets a "Connection timed out." error when he tries to join my server. I've forwarded ports 7777 and 25017 for TCP and UDP. Help please.
This is awesome. Thank you for showing us how. I've not been able to find a server setting to restrict the number of active players. MAX Players = doesn't work. Also, the Game Start UI will change in late Feb once The Center map launches. I wonder how the new map will impact this simple process.
Great tutorial but do want to say it is not recommended to allow RDP on the internet unless you restrict the access to your home IP or I suggest using something like TeamViewer or AnyDesk.
How many people can connect to home PC? itβs me and my husband at home but then we have friends we want to play with that live elsewhere.

Does this require payment to run the Ark server? I want to have a server with my friends but I really would like a cheaper option or no subscription required at all. Is this possible? We're tired of playing together and every time the host is too far we all get teleported to the host lol!
"There's no way I was going to rent a Nitrado server after the crap they pulled". HAHAHAHA, Love you Steve, you are so awesome (and SO right!). My friend is renting from Nitrado right now and I help him admin (Actually, he moved on to another game, so I am basically admin by myself now – don't get me started HAHAHA!). For Nitrado, I have to send a ticket for EVERYTHING, and they SUCK in their responses. One guy even told me outright, "I don't know how to do that". After I told him what to do (he needed to delete a mod file – easy peasy), he still said "I have to submit this" after I TOLD HIM WHAT TO DO! I gave him the mod number, name of the folder and everything! It was THREE days of back and forth e-mails. π€¦ββ Oh, By the way – they DON'T GIVE SERVER OWNERS ACCESS to their mod files!! The mod folders are sequestered! Grrrr. Ok, rant over, hahaha, and THANK YOU for making this video! I built a big server two years ago to host a cluster, but I used Ark Server Manager, and they haven't ported over to Ark Ascended yet. β¦β¦ Change of Subject: By the way, I still think you have the perfect voice for narrating maybe an animal nature show, or something like that. I can completely envision you narrating on the Saturday morning kids nature shows telling everyone about the capybara's mating habits while I make coffee (yes, I'm 60 and I still love the Saturday morning kid nature shows – nope never had children). ππ I love your voice.
