– Is ASA a new game?
It's a remake of Ark Survival Evolved in a new game engine (Unreal 5) with cross platform, cross progression and cross platform mod support added for PC, Xbox and PS and a few other new features & QOL changes added

– Can you host a dedicated server using a 2nd Xbox like on ASE?
Currently you cannot do this it seems. We have no info on if this is coming in the future.

– How do you show FPS?
Enable console commands by going to settings > advanced > change console access to "On". Once back in the game, press Start, then press select/back button to open console and then enter "stat fps" in the console (without the quotation marks) and press start.

– Can you lock FPS at 30?
You can use the console command "t.maxfps 30" to cap your FPS at 30 to try and get a smoother framerate

– How do you put a torch on your belt?
Hold the torch then press LT

– How to change ammo type on Xbox?
Hold the reload button and a wheel comes up, or drag ammo to bow

– Can I play split screen?
Yes, there is a tether of 180m

Things we need answers on that I can't test/don't know:

– A lot of people are having issues with screen area not all being visible, is there any way to fix this?

– Can Xbox players play non-dedicated with steam players?

No but what I really want to know is how to get my stones and sand to look like said and not like play-doh.

I cant even play it online when i try to join a server i get stuck on the joining server screen 😭😭

You can drag and drop items in your inventory to move whole stacks as well.

Does anyone know why the deinosuchus is unavailable

I seem to have an auto lock on Bolas and range weapons do you know how to turn it off off I keep hitting my own creatures and can't get head shots very easily because it keeps dragging me to the body of the dinos

When is it out on console

I wonder if they will ever remove the tether
