I get it too show up when I start my server on my favorites but when I click connect and type my pw in nothing happens. Idk what I'm doing wrong.
my friend can only see the server on the list when i join it but its visible to me on the list. i set it up on a second pc. any thoughts? thanks
Is it possible to create a dedicated server using IPV6 instead of IPV4? My ISP uses CG NAT for IPV4 so it's impossible to make Port Forwarding work properly. But Using IPV6 i can access my computer using any port.
Super easy but a bit insecure having a dedicated server running without VAC. You should add: "VAC_Secure": "true" to the json config just in case. Not sure if there is any other useful parameters but this one is not default in the json, therefore I suggest to add it. EDIT: For some reason adding the VAC_Secure parameter to the json file will result in not being able to join the server. Does anyone know why this happens?

Solid guide! I had trouble seeing my server in the list when I was booting it up from Steam directly, then I saw your video and it seems to show up just fine when running it from anonymous bat file instead of booting it up from steam library.
Is it possible to create a server on a PC that does not have Steam or the game installed?

But my friends and I have been playing for 7 hours now and want to "load" the map we played on onto the server, how do I do that?
I have already transferred the savegames from my file to the sever. However, when I join it is a new map.

If anyone is getting the "Game Creation Error" when attempting to log into the server, try running the 'enshrouded_server.exe' in admin mode instead of using his .bat file to load up the server.
Or, if you want to keep using the .bat file, you'll need to change the very last line to this:
runas /user:<username_to_log_into_windows> "cmd.exe /c "start C:FullPathtoenshrouded_server.exe""
Obviously you'll need to change the username and the FULL PATH to the enshrouded_server.exe, it should be in the steamappscommon directory.

I didn't found the server at first, because you need to Save the server infos in Notepad++ before closing otherwise it's still at default. But after that everything worked
I can see my server on, but when I try to join I'm having a message that says "Error when creating game", but in the CMD it seems that it's all good, any suggestion?

Would I use the same steam account I purchased the game on to run my dedicated server, or, does it need it's own steam account/client copy.
