This tutorial is part of series for palworld and everything that you need to know about playing this awesome new game! IT might be similar to another game, but it sure is fun to keep catching pals, building up in an open world, and creating a pal army with weaponry.

omg thank you teach, ive been having the issue were im assigning a pal for a task and not understanding why it "doesnt recognise the task im assigning it to", you said that you need to aim at the machine's front
I have got both stone pit and iron mines far away from each other and where they sleep is close to iron mines, sometimes my digtoise goes to do iron mines and most of the time I find him doing stone pit and kept throwing him back the iron mines, wish there was a way to make them do specific task and not go to other one
Yeah this doesn't work for me. I've got Luke 7 Verdash and none of them will do their handiwork. All they do is gather and plant and nothing else. I throw them at the sphere assembly line and they just run from it.

Me personally I would love a more complex system of being able to assign these better, like tell a transport to grab from here and take it to there, tell something to work this job unless that other job needs attention, or ONLY THIS JOB! nothing else, kind of system would be awesome
Yeah this is my biggest gripe with the AI.
There is no assignment menu or anything and throwing them doesn't work 99% of the time and as soon as they go to sleep or you leave the base they stop their fixed assignment.
This would be fine except it never lasts long. As soon as they take a short break or go to grab some food, they forget what they're supposed to be doing and go do something else instead.
My tombat keeps abandoning the ore to mine stone with the cattivas. It's infuriating. It's the only one capable of mining ore that I have right now. I'm so tempted to butcher it and just mine the ore, myself.
is it possible to have autocooked berries? Like from the farm, straight to the stove/campfire to the feeder?
how do i stop them tho? like there is a bunch of rocks at my home base that I like cos my chickens like them and my cat keeps bashing em
Sadly this is the worst system ever in a game, it doesn't matter where you throw, or where you aim, all that matters is what they touch first upon thrown… This is only a guess, sometimes it is even worse…. this can be a real nightmare with bigger Pals… hope they change this asap, like make it what the player is aiming at or whatever.. I literally had to remake my hatchery entirely because my heater and cooler pets cant work an incubator when I try and throw them at their speciphic object
what about captured humans
Doesnt work. After I move them, they do that specific job for few secs and they move to something else. Like I order them to chop wood, but after few secs they run to the plants for planting and harvesting
I have done this and they just run off in a few seconds, the fucking penguins won't keep my cooler cold

the sheep one i have never wants to collect stuff around base for longer than a few minutes its super annoying
This doesn't work, although I think this is what is intended. Mine will do what i tell them to for a bit, then they just get back to doing everything else. I had to completely delete my stone quarry so they would mine ore….. they stopped touching the ore after a time. Heck, most of mine just hover around the berry patch and never do other stuff.
Mine tends to error out and wont work they just go back to auto work
